The Scientific Method
The Scientific Method sorts out what is true, what is not true, and what we're not sure about. Here are the basic ideas of the Scientific Method:
- Watch things happen.
- Try to think of reasons for what is seen.
- Test each idea with measurements and experiments.
- Think about the results carefully and discuss them with others.
- If the idea doesn't fit with other things we know, keep changing the idea and testing again until it does fit.
